Ralph now resides in the Fife Village of Inverkeithing, a short distance from the Forth Rail and Road Bridges. He moved here after years of moving around the country as a minister of religion and teacher. He now paints on a regular basis being inspired by the beauty of the surrounding area and the coastal path.His paintings are an eclectic mix of Landscapes, Seascapes, Abstracts, Still Life and Portraits. Painted mainly in Acrylic and Pastels this variety keeps his work fresh and different.
He is pleased that his work sells as it does which keeps him looking for fresh and new ideas to keep them interesting. Untrained as an artist he has learned on the job making mistakes and learning from them. Often that happy accident leads him to the next stage of his development .
It is his hope that he can keep people interested in his art and art in general. he hopes that those who have purchased in the past and have found that their painting continues to give them joy may encourage others to visit this site and as one purchaser has said, “You never know when you might find something else for that other bare wall.”
